Cribby Caught Speeding In Dahab

Guy Cribb sets new speed record in Dahab of 40.4 knots/ 75 kmphs. His previous record had stood for two years but within an hour of arriving to Dahab on Sunday May 31 Cribby rigged a 5.8m North Ram, that he’d only used once before crossing the English Channel, and in around 30 knots of wind became the first sailor to ever break 40 knots in the Red Sea / Gulf  of Aquba. The vast majority of the 300+ windsurfers in Dahab stayed ashore in these winds but local photographer Hatem Walid got some great shots!
