Light winds and a bit of dense fog greeted the sailors on Saturday morning – couldn’t see the reservoir early on!  There were 44 kids on the water who had come up to Derwent with their families and camped the previous evening. A great social night was had by all on Saturday which was a tremendous opportunity for the kids to partake in some light hearted inter club banter.

There were 10 Derwent Devils sailing; 6 in the 3.5, 1 in the 4.5 and 3 in the 5.5.  And they gained a couple of awards in the presentation:  Merit Awards – Charlie Tose in the 3.5 fleet and Noah Knapton in the 4.5 fleet.
