The RYA’s OnBoard programme which helps get youngsters in to sailing and windsurfing will be receiving some extra funding thanks to BingoLotto players, Virgin 1’s Sunday night bingo show.
Every time someone purchases a £2 Game card, 20 per cent goes to support a wide range of good causes in the UK, with the main beneficiaries being members of The Central Council of Physical Recreation (CCPR) and members of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO).
The BingoLotto funding received by the RYA is then used to directly support the OnBoard programme helping even more youngsters get involved in these great sports.
Airing every Sunday at 7.00pm on Virgin 1 (Virgin: 119; Sky: 121, Freeview: 20), hosted by Ulrika Jonsson, the show combines the play along fun of live bingo games with the instant thrill of the lottery draw.
As well as supporting youth sailing you’ll also have the chance to winning some fantastic prizes for yourself such as; cars, holidays, TVs, cash and more, just get your £2 ticket from Tesco stores or subscribe online.
If you are lucky enough to win one of the big cash prizes on the night in the Fortune Seeker game, you could be joining Ulrika in the studio the following week to play for the big cash prize and win up to £100,000 cash!!
BingoLotto is dedicated to supporting voluntary, community and sporting organisations across the UK and helping to deliver much needed funding.
Currently OnBoard operates out of 160 sailing or windsurfing clubs and centres across the UK, with some 180,000 kids having taken part in a beginner sailing session. Over 1,000 schools are also linked to the programme and almost 9,000 youngsters are now regular sailors thanks to the OnBoard programme.
