NATIONAL WINDSURFING COACH

The RYA, currently based in Eastleigh but relocating to Hamble in 2003, is
seeking to appoint a National Windsurfing Coach.

Reporting to the Windsurfing Manager, you will be responsible for the development
and delivery of windsurfing coaching and the management of squad training, to
facilitate the development of young individuals with the potential to win medals
in the future.

The role requires an experienced high level windsurfing competitor, or an experienced
and competent international level windsurfing coach, who understands the demands
of the competitive windsurfer and the coach/competitor relationship. The successful
applicant will also have: the ability to manage their time effectively, often
working remotely; a proven record in project management; the ability to gain
the trust of both competitors and coaches; and a structured approach to setting
and achieving goals with the desire to win. The job involves regular work outside
normal office hours.

Salary in the range £23,100 – £25,700 pa plus benefits package
including pension and life insurance, 25 days holiday.
