The idea of the communal surf trip is simple; get together a group of like minded
people who would find it cost prohibitive to travel alone and who are up for a
laugh, get them to share the accommodation, car hire and nights out and forge
new friendships.

Every year, Canarian Dreams runs its Communal Surf Trips to the Canary Islands.
For the sixth year running, accommodation prices have been kept to the same low
cost.

Your accommodation is based in detached bungalows and village apartments with
use of swimming pool at La Caleta de Famara, next to the famous beach break. This
beach can at times have world class surf.
Rooms can be on a shared basis, or for a supplement you can have total privacy
in your own room or even individual apartment or bungalow.
Famara is well known as a surf beach with excellent windsurfing for experienced
sailors. For the not so experienced Las Cucharas beach is a short drive away and
equipment and tuition is available from several centres in Costa Teguise. Kite
surfing is also becoming very popular in Lanzarote.
Why not learn to surf for those no wind days. Expert tuition with a BSA school
is available at £35.00 per day.

Surfing Tuition
BSA School with Certificate. £35 per day includes use of board, wetsuit,
lunch, top BSA coaching.
