The 2004 PWA, Catalunya, Costa Brava, Super X, World Cup, Day 3

The anticipation continues to build here at the 2004, PWA, Catalunya,

afternoon, as hot sunny weather, followed by dark storm clouds thwarted
thermal breezes.

Last nights boat trip, which set off from the historic town of Roses
resulted in a memorable evening typifying the superb generosity of the
local organizers. The party set sail around 8pm, kicking off with a
thrilling boat tour meters away from vertical granite cliffs and
extraordinary caves. After docking in a stunning secluded bay around the
headland, the hospitality continued with a feast of typical Spanish
cuisine including fresh salad, sardines and paella, not forgetting the odd
carafe of Sangria to wash it all down!

Record attendances are expected here on the sun drenched shores of Costa
Brava this weekend, as this years festival draws to a sensational climax
with a huge windsurf exhibition, insane parties and adrenaline pumping
Super X action.

As the sun sets behind distant stormy skies over the Pyrenees this
evening, the stage is perfectly set for a dramatic finale to this years
Catalunya Super X World Cup. The latest forecasts for Saturday and Sunday
are now pointing calling for the arrival of northerly Tramontana winds. It
now looks like waiting game is finally over, so fasten your seatbelts
ready for two days of fever pitch Super X action, which will determine who
has the nerve and speed to be on the podium when the dust settles after
the final race!
