PWA CATALUNYA, COSTA BRAVA SUPER X WORLD CUP, DAY 4

The 2004 PWA, Catalunya, Costa Brava, Super X, World Cup, Day 4

The wind of change is in the air here on the penultimate day of the Costa
Brava Super X World Cup. Despite no official action taking place today,
the forecast remains positive with Tramontana breezes all set kick in
tomorrow.

Race crew and sailors anxiously prepared for racing this afternoon as
thermal breezes started to pick up. With all the signs in our favor to get
the show rolling, looming storm clouds on the horizon spelt the end of the
wind leaving race director, Klaus Michael no other option than to call it
a day at 7pm.

Crowds in their thousands flocked to the pristine beaches in the Bay of
Roses today soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine and the buzzing
atmosphere of the windsurfing festival. Tonight, a huge beach party is on
the menu and the anticipation is already building for yet another festive
evening on the PWA world tour.

With one day remaining here in Costa Brava, it looks like the show is
going down to the wire…
