Top Watersports Athletes to Coach Sunsail Guests
Fat Face Team Riders at Club Javelin
Some of the UK’s finest performance watersports athletes will be taking their talents to Turkey’s Aegean coast in October for an action packed week of instruction and hi thrill activities.
Sunsail, the market leaders in the provision of watersports beach club holidays has teamed up with Fat Face, the active lifestyle clothing brand to host a series of clinics run with the Fat Face Team Riders in windsurfing, sailing and waterskiing at Sunsail’s Club Javelin on the Bodrum Peninsula.
During the week of 2nd October 2004, guests at the Club will receive free advice from Olympic Windsurfer, Bryony Shaw; windsurfer and freestyler John Hibbard; Olympic Sailor Hugh Styles; and Damian Sharman from the British Water Ski Team. Prices for a week at Club Javelin start at £575 per person including flights and half board accommodation.
Experts and novices alike will be catered for during the clinics with individual tuition, group events and demonstrations of tricks and special techniques. Guests can also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Club Javelin which has undergone a £1m makeover to its 90 rooms and public areas. The hotel’s Jetty Bar which overlooks the sea makes a popular venue for guests wanting to watch activities in the Ortakent Bay, famed for its consistently good winds, and popular with windsurfers and catamaran sailors.
“We are really excited that Fat Face has chosen Sunsail as their preferred provider of an active lifestyle holiday, and pleased that our customers are able to share these guys’ enthusiasm and expertise – all at the same price as a week’s Sunsail Club holiday at Javelin,” comments Matt West, Managing Director of Sunsail Europe.
A chance to participate in the Fat Face Watersports Clinic is being offered in a competition being run by Fat Face in conjunction with Boards and Yachts & Yachting magazines. Entrants for the two holidays for two at Club Javelin should email email@example.com with FFclinic044 in the subject box.
