UKWA YOUTHS AND JUNIORS FREESTYLE TRAINING CAMP, CHRISTCHURCH – AUGUST 28 – 30 2004

The idea is to carry out Youth and Junior freestyle training over the same
weekend as the UKWA Freewave Competition so that the top UK sailors such
as John Skye, Chris Audsley, Ben Proffitt etc can provide some input such
as clinics in their best moves, competition hints and tips etc.

The head coach will be Jem Hall who most of you will know or have heard
of, he will be assisted by other fully qualified coaches, safety cover
will be provided by the UKWA, we are also hoping for some help and
involvement from the RYA.

Several of the main windsurfing equipment importers have pledged support
and will be on hand with their latest equipment for everyone to use free
of charge. There will also be a dedicated youth/junior competition over
the weekend to provide some actual competition experience; the top pro
sailors will be the judges.

The fees for the weekend are still to be set but will be subsidised and
kept to the minimum. In order to progress further we need some information
