The first day of the BWA Tour was a relaxing affair with folk catching up on their winter travels and latest kit in the glorious Welsh sunshine. As you can gather, no official competition but there was some windsurfing behind wakeboards by Team Starboard and some onshore Turfdog action to keep the crowds entertained.
Tonight the Pros are up at Llandudno Ski Centre along with arriving amateurs, masters, ladies and youths all getting ready for the famous Ski Centre BBQ followed by some serious toggoban championship runs and a bit of snowboarding thrown in for good measure.
Registration continues Saturday morning at 0900 for all the fleets and there is a chance of wind/waves for Sunday, leaving Saturday for sailors to listen to top tips from the Pros, partake in the volleyball contest, paddle board to Starvation Island and, of course, prepare their fancy dress for the Karaoke evening at Y Morfa.
