Now at 5pm here in Rhosneigr and unfortunately the wind and waves have not built to a good enough level to hold any competition. The riders have been out on freeride gear making the most of the conditions but we’re not sure on the chances of the conditions improving enough to hold competition; fingers crossed though!

The conditions are starting to come in here at Rhosneigr and it looks like we could get underway at 15.30. The next announcement is at 15.00 but all riders have been told to be ready to swing into action straight after this. Whilst it isn’t the best Rhossy conditions it looks like there should be more than enough wind, with some big enough sets rolling through to get the competition underway.

First possible start for the action today is now 13.00, with the conditions set to improve throughout the day. At the moment we have port tack conditions, with small waves but this should all build through the day and it looks like we could have some good competition into the evening.

Heat order will run with amateurs and masters up first, alternating heats, with a couple of heats for each fleet. Then it will be onto the women and pros. Full heat order to come!

Day three here at BWA Wales is looking promising as the wind should be building this afternoon, with some small waves coming through. It looks like it could be around 5m weather this afternoon, so with the the skippers meeting scheduled for 11am it could be anytime after this that the action gets underway.

No wind on Thursday meant go karting time, with Will Barrett being crowned the winner of the Grand Prix!
