Daily Round-Up 22nd October – Fighting For The Worlds

The RS:X World Championships are currently taking place in Oman and after a good few races the fleets how now been split into golf and silver. In the men’s fleet Nick Dempsey is currently sitting in 11th position, with Kieran Martin next Brit in a great 16th place – Kieran is also in a fantastic 2nd place in the under 21’s results. In the women’s fleet Bryony Shaw is sitting in 6th overall, in a comfortable position. In the women’s under 21s it is young Emma Wilson who is showing what she is made of – Emma currently sits in 7th. Follow all the latest from the RS:X Worlds on the event website here. 

It’s not all fun and games with Olympic racing, as the racers report on their social media…it doesn’t sound like Tom Squires is having the best race, and from the looks of his, and other racers, hands things could be getting even more painful as the racing continues…
