Notts County stalwart David Eberlin has let us know about NCSC’s special guest later this month…

Dave Hackford from Tushingham and Starboard, and not to mention Raceboard fame, Is coming to Notts County Sailing Club near Nottingham on Wed 21st July 2010. He will be joined by Rich from Dave Noble’s the local windsurf shop.

This is an open invitation, to local clubs and windsurfers. Last year we had a great turnout of nearly thirty including visitors. David is bringing some demo gear to try and will be doing some on and off water Raceboard sessions, we will no doubt do some short sharp races, with some spot prizes (probably not going to the winners). He will no doubt talk about rigging, getting the most out of your board and how to join in a race.

David hopes to get down at 4pm and the Raceboard Training will start at about 5.30pm

Afterwards the bar will be open, and our caterer Pauline will be preparing some excellent reasonably priced food (£3.50 a meal), so with David there you could say it was a star in a reasonably priced bar! (sorry).
