The European Freestyle Pro Tour confirm the Austrian tow-in event and have more good news too…
Last year’s EFPT tow-in event at the lake in Podersdorf was a truly great spectacle – the crowds flocked to the waters edge to watch the world’s best get towed into the spotlight at over 30-knots before launching into insane tricks, just feet away from the viewing platforms.
This year’s event is set to be even bigger and better and the EFPT have announced a new sponsor, Chiemsee, who have upped the prize pot to a whopping €5,000!!
With an even bigger incentive to launch into ridiculous tricks, many of which are only possible due to the added speed from the jetski, it promises to be an amazing event. Representing the UK will be Andy ‘Bubble’ Chambers, Max Rowe, Adam Sims, Jamie Drummond and Phil Richards – all who have had some practise behind a boat or jet ski and will be gunning for a place in the final!
The Chiemsee Tow-In European Championship will take place from the 27th -30th, in the hours of darkness – the daylight hours being reserved for the PWA freestyle competition running alongside.
