With the BWA Tiree competition due to start tomorrow, Boards had another catch up with Russ Jenkins who has been sailing all week up on the island:
“An expectedly fun session at the Maze arrived today with steady light winds and fun sized waves, perfect for tuning kit and getting out the big stuff ready for competition conditions.
Puravida rider Russ Jenkins used the time wisely to tune his big 110 wave board and Black Project Fins to work alongside his super-light, but powerful 5.5m…the perfect light wind wave catching combo.
Now with the forecast looking good for both wind and waves next week, up to 16 second wave periods are predicted, the word is out that the 27th Tiree Wave Classic could be epic! Fingers crossed.”
