The RYA run a variety of windsurfing courses, including ones to make you a fully fledged windsurfing instructor. If you’re set to turn over a new leaf in the new year and would like to work within your favourite sport, becoming an instructor is a fantastic idea. Whether you’d like to head abroad for a full season of sun, instruct around prior commitments or simply increase your windsurfing knowledge an instructor course is definitely the way to go.
Instructor courses are run all around the country by various windsurf trainers, take a look at the RYA website for more info and for dates check out this link. Trainer and well known coach, Sam Ross, has recently released the dates of the courses he will be coaching in 2013, it looks like he’s got a rather full calendar!
Boards would especially recommend the courses run at the OTC Puravida Centre in Weymouth, Lagoon Watersports in Brighton and Bray Lake Watersports in Berkshire. So check out the links and get involved!
