Karin Jaggi and Antoine Albeau have both smashed the windsurfing World Speed Record all in one epic day at the Luderitz Speed Canal in Namibia.
Starting out with low expectations the froecast was not as promising as the previous days, however as the hours and minutes ticked by the wind increased to the point that flying sand made it hard to see the way ahead. In the end Albeau was able to muster a 53.27 knot run and Karin Jaggi took home her own record breaking run with 46.32 knots.
