The second round of the men’s double elimination is almost complete, with a mixed bag of results for the British guys.

Swift beat Jung and now goes through to take on trials sailor Martin ten Hoeve, Lampy has been sailing incredibly so far (taking down Guilloul) but you’ve got to think Swift  will fancy his chances in this match up.

In the battle of the Brits between Proffitt and Skye it was super close, but Skye just won taking a good wave 360 (and then a long swim). Skye will now face Moritz Mauch who made the upset of the round taking out Ricardo Campello with his final wave.

Adam Lewis then faced Dario Ojeda, we are sure both sailors will admit they didn’t have the best of heats, but it was Lewis that just edged through. Lewis will now face Mussolini in the next round, in a ‘locals’ showdown which is sure to go to the wire if both riders can deliver.
