The Drive from North Sails promises to be a fantastic entry to intermediate level sail, nice and easy to both rig and use. The main benefit of the Drive is one mast fits all sizes, so changing for bigger sails is easy and increasing your quiver doesn’t break the bank.
Sized from 2.9 to 4.2m with only 4 battens, the Drive benefits from reduced weight and is especially designed around the needs of the light-weight surfer (ie; women & juniors).
The POWER.CONTROL.HEAD provides an optimal twist without top heaviness and a stable centre of effort.
3D TECHNOLOGY means a perfect profile without tolerances due to the shape lines instead of single points from our ultra-modern 3D production facility.
The Drive has a reduced luff length while the boom length remains the same. This prevents top heaviness and makes the sail more compact.
VTS (Visual Trim System) for a performance oriented trim and ‘HTS’ indicator for exact positioning of the harness lines.
The boom height is immediately readable on the mast sleeve.
The DURATECH.FOOT (patent pending) means all foot seams are completely protected within a plastic channel to avoid seam breakage caused by abrasion through board contact.
The ROCKET.TENSIONIZER integrated hex key driven batten adjustment system makes for effortless batten trimming.
5 year warranty for all cases except monofilm degradation.
