Tushingham reports from the North Zone T15 Champs –
Tushingham sponsored Team 15 group Pugneys Pirates win again at NE Lincs event meaning they are the North Zone winners for a second successive year and will represent the North at the Champions Cup in October.
On Sunday 22nd July Pugneys Pirates put together another great team performance in conditions that were at times very testing with winds gusting up to 28 knots.
Dave Dobson set a great course for the larger fleets and the smaller sailors battled on through meaning everyone had a great day.
Adam Thompson, father of Joseph (one of the Pirates), would like to thank Gump and Ben (from Juice Boardsports).
“They always provide expert advise and kit. Joseph bought his recent adjustable’s from Gump and these have been a big help. They continue to give young windsurfers (and a few older ones, eh Roy?) the chance to try different kit at demo days just to show that there are alternatives to Techno kit.
I would also like to thank Tushingham for their support at the recent Rutland Marathon. Joseph also competed at this and raised £184 (the most of anyone).”
Joseph also won the best fancy dress, which from the pictures below I think you will agree why!
