Elimination one of the PWA freestyle competition in Fuerteventura was completed yesterday, with Sarah-Quita Offringa and Kiri Thode yet again proving they are the top freestylers in the world.
Whilst these two proved their dominance, it was Andy Chambers who this time took the top Brit spot. Chambers was pitted against Rowe in a close fought heat, but it was Chambers that just took the win which pushed him to 9th place in the single elimination.
It looks like the wind should fill in today in Fuerte, meaning that the freestyle can head into the double elimination. There’s a few faces eager to get started in the hope of working their way up through the elimination, so fingers crossed for steady winds…
