It’s cold, wet and a little miserable here in the UK, in our book that makes it the perfect time to look ahead to the summer holidays. Booking up your summer windsurfing trip early not only gives you something to look forward to through the long winter, but there are also some great early booking options around, too.
Our first summer holiday suggestion, here on Boards, is Porto Heli in Greece, a great destination for any beginner to intermediate windsurfers, which you can visit with Ocean Elements.
Where:
Found at the Southern most tip of the beautiful Argolis Peninsula, Porto Heli isopposite the island on Spetses and stretches along a large bay which offers gently shelving, crystal clear waters and consistent winds – perfect swimming beaches and great sailing for all levels! A full range of our RYA courses and tuition is available with the latest boats and windsurf kit for you to try.
Who:
Leda Beach Club is a great beginner and intermediate windsurf destination due to its gentle morning wind which builds in the afternoon to offer Intermediate Planing conditions on many days. A private beach with shallow, gentle water and reliable wind makes it a great sailing centre. For more advanced sailors, try Vassiliki at our Specialised Windsurf Centre.

Porto Heli is a great beginner and intermediate windsurf destination due to its gentle morning wind conditions which build in the afternoon to offer Intermediate Planing conditions on many days. Porto Heli offfers shallow water, a safe bay and great learning environment which never gets too boisterous. If you are a high level Intermediate you will still have fun using bigger sails, or maybe try Vassiliki where our Specialised Windsurf Centre is situated
*One 2.5hr lesson for beginners to Inters so you are able to use our kit for the week. Additional lessons if required (or advanced tuition) can be paid for locally if required.
