In which case, emphasise these key points:
• Adopt a ‘Drop and Dig’ stance by sinking and pushing the upper body out, back and down into the harness.
• Be strong on the extended front leg and crucially curl the toes up and dig the heel on the front foot to lock that rail down.
• The rear leg flexes to absorb chop and help the body to stay low and outboard.
This whole Super 7 ‘Drop and Dig’ stance increases the force down through the harness/boom, flattening the board.
