Peter Manfield, the proprietor who previously owned a shop on the seafront has now gone into partnership with Mark Briggs and together will be providing a fantastic service to all watersports enthusiasts which will include Windsurfing, Kite Surfing, Kayaking and all other associated watersports and tuition.
During the year Waterfront sports will be organising course racing once every fortnight on the Duck Pond at Exmouth, Devon, where we have a purpose built building. We also have a unit at the opposite end of the seafront (Orcombe Point) where lessons etc will take place. Waterfront Sports will also be organising a number of GPS Speed events off the seafront at Exmouth. For those people who don’t yet have GPS data loggers we will be able to supply these for hire (of which the money will go to the charities we support which are National Coast Watch in Exmouth and the Exmouth Beach Rescue) from the shop when registered. We will also have a number of course racing boards available for people to use should they wish to enter our course racing without the appropriate gear.
The shop is located at Pierhead in Exmouth Marina and will be open from Saturday 4th April, with an official opening which will be held on Saturday 2nd May. Check our website for more information and forthcoming events.
