Evening Standard newspaper readers will have a chance to win a trip to the
BVI to attend the annual Highland spring HIHO 2003 event. The competition
organized by Highland Spring will see the winner and a companion travel via
British Airways Club Class to the BVI and stay at either the Bitter End or
participate in the HIHO event itself. The prize is valued at $17,000! The
promotion will be inserted in the paper the week commencing April 7.
The Evening Standard has an average daily readership of 413,940. Readers
are typically in the 2544 year age group and represent affluent spenders.

trip to the Highland Spring HIHO 2004 event. The promotion is printed
directly onto the plastic packaging. Consumers can mail in their entry or

Additionally, Highland Spring is sending a UKbased TV crew to cover the
event. A 30minute TV show will air in the UK and internationally.

market. French, Italian and US journalists will also be covering the
Highland spring HIHO 2003 event.
The annual Highland Spring HIHO event always take place the first week of
July. The event is windsurfings bestknown competition and combines a
series of interisland windsurfing races with a flotilla of catamarans. The
event stops at Virgin Gorda, Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and several islands
inbetween.
