Hi All,

Just a reminder about the WOWI weekend in Achill this weekend, 28 / 29 July.

There are 5 places left for beginners and 3 paces left for improvers/intermediates.

A full day’s instruction on Saturday 10am to 4pm with a lunch break in there somewhere.
Lessons will start a little later on the Sunday morning (to allow for a few sore heads !) from 11am till 4pm. Anyone who wants to stay on the lake and practice their new skills can do so till 5pm.

The cost of the full weekend’s instruction and kit hire is €130 or €70 for one day.

There are 10 places for beginners with kit hire and another 10 places for windsurfers with their own equipment.

As for accommodation, I have provisionally booked one house in Keel beside the lake.

All first timers will get a Women in Sport Voucher worth €50 which can be used in Windwise for instruction and/or kit hire over one, two or three sessions.

All participants will get an initial one year free membership to the IWA which includes free third party insurance.

Okay so, it will be a good one if you can make it. The days are getting shorter now so if you can’t make it to the Achill WOWI weekend, make sure you make it to either Rusheen Bay on August 11/12 or Downings in Donegal on August 18/19.  Details later.
