Boards at the Olympics: Day Two

Racing will start today at 12:00 with the RS:X men racing on the Nothe course.

THIS WILL BE TELEVISED ON THE BBC both online and on the TV.

The RS:X women will then be on action on the Portland Harbour course after 14.00.

BUT before that, at 11.00 the RS:X racing from yesterday will be discussed on the RYA TV channel with myself (Amy Carter) and Penny Clark. Ask your questions here! RYA TV Channel link.

Our coverage. Have your say…

After the RYA TV chat I will be rushing back to the Sailing venue in the hope to give you some live reports of the men’s racing, followed by an interview with Nick and other competitors.

We will then follow this with similar coverage for the women’s race in the afternoon.

Due to the race course selection and order of racing today I will unfortunately be unable to make it onto a press boat to watch and report from the action up close. On days RS:X are racing on the same courses this is easy to do, when the fleets are split over two courses this becomes a lot trickier. So we have the choice of reporting from one race course live, and not being able to complete or interviews. Or having slightly less live coverage but being able to provide more in depth interviews at the end of racing. We want to provide the coverage that you want to see so please let us know if you would like to see:
