With the first stop of the PWA wave tour in Gran Canaria completed, everyone now heads straight over to Tenerife for the next event.
Most sailors have either already arrived, or will arrive today, Boards are already here so yet again we will keep you up to date with the latest from the men and women as they prepare for Tenerife at it’s very best.
The forecast for the beginning of the event is looking incredible, a few sailors have sold the 3.3s after Pozo and are already regretting the decision as the wind looks like it could be almost as strong over here!
The competition will kick off on the 12th, officially finishing on the 17th but with the fantastic forecast we are sure the action will kick off straight away and the PWA should get through the rounds very quickly as El Cabezo is not as reliant on tide as Pozo.
Names to watch out for in the competition are of course the local boys, Dany Bruch (who has also done an incredible job organising the event) will be out to show all the others exactly what he can do in more familiar conditions, as will Adam Lewis and Alex Mussolini. Laure Treboux has spent a lot of time in Tenerife too, being here training before Pozo so she is sure to feel a lot more comfortable and really deliver in these conditions.
We will of course be covering the event Live on Mpora – we will bring you all the information very soon so stay tuned!
