Big Blue Watersports

Location: Big Blue Watersports is a new watersports centre located in Cornwall, on Admiralty Quay at Mylor overlooking the beautiful and historic Carrick Roads.

Conditions: Cornwall is a windsurfing playground, with a variety of spots including flat water and wave locations. Check the Big Salty UK beach guide – South West England for all the details

Big Blue Watersports are proud to be the only company in Cornwall to offer a take-away hire service, so proficient windsurfers can go and explore some of the finest wave sailing spots that the north and south coasts of Cornwall have to offer.

If windsurfing isn’t for you, their single and double sit-on-top kayaks are a popular alternative. Whether, it’s an active expedition or just a leisurely paddle that you’re after, kayaks provide a healthy, safe and fun way to experience a day on the water. Load up a single with BBQ and beach gear to enjoy a day out with friends with a difference or take up to two adults and one child out on a double- an ideal way for families to explore the River Fal (including some idyllic beaches that you can only get to by water!). Over night hire is also available.

Finally, for those who like to stay firmly on land (or if it’s just too windy to enjoy either of the above!) we offer cycle hire. Mylor is surrounded by a network of attractive cycle trails that provide a great eco-friendly way to get around the local area.
