GEAR READY – The main pointer I’ve learnt from watching the top professionals rigging is that they all have their equipment set to the right measurements before they start putting it together i.e. extension at right length, boom at right length etc. So if you can set it up all up at home or at the end of a session, next time it’s ready to go, or even mark the settings on your gear so there’s not second guessing; this will definitely cut down your rigging time.
