Want to learn the quickest way to rig your gear and no longer waste ages faffing at the beach?
Here Alfie Hart joins Boards to share the lessons learned from Boardseeker’s (our sister site) rigging challenge.

GEAR READY – The main pointer I’ve learnt from watching the top professionals rigging is that they all have their equipment set to the right measurements before they start putting it together i.e. extension at right length, boom at right length etc. So if you can set it up all up at home or at the end of a session, next time it’s ready to go, or even mark the settings on your gear so there’s not second guessing; this will definitely cut down your rigging time.
