PAINKILLER THRILLER
The Painkiller Thriller has been ressurrected from its original wild form for
Dec 19th 2004.
Starting from Marina Cay the racing class will belt downwind for 20 miles
or so zig zagging across the channel to Peg Legs Landing. A test of
stamina , fitness and bravado will see who is welcomed at the beach by the
cheerleading squad.

At the beach Peg Legs will serve a bbq at Nanny Cay, where volley ball
games will be taking place.

A brief fuel up and a kitesurf expression session will see the open class
race off from peg legs to a reach mark in a drag race combined with a
super x expression session. Those new to supercross can expect to see
those opting for this discipline trying to the craziest ariel stunts
imaginable on their windsurfers.

This is an open event, all welcome, all welcome to attend.

PLS NOTE DUE TO LOGISTICS OF RACING CLASS AND OPEN CLASS SUPER X THIS RACE IS A PRE REGISTRATION EVENT. THEREFORE YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE FRIDAY 17TH DECEMBER AT THE SHAK , IN PERSON, TO SIGN UP.

ESTIMATE BREAKFAST BRIEFING AT MARINA CAY AT 11AM, WITH START AT 11.30AM PROMPT. COURSE IS OPEN DOWNWIND TO PEGLEGS LANDING BEACH. THIS IS OPEN FORMAT FOR EQUIPMENT. PLS MAKE SURE YOUR EQUIPMENT IS RIGGED AND READY TO START FROM MARINA CAY. SUGGEST PARK AND SAIL FROM TRELLIS TO MARINA CAY.
OPEN CLASS/ SUPER X
AFTER LUNCH, APPROX 2PM, A REACHING COURSE FOR ALL TO ATTEND EITHER AS DRAG RACE OR SUPER X FORMAT, AGAIN OPEN CLASS FOR EQUIPMENT. SUGGEST RACERS USE SAME EQUIPMENT OR HAVE BACK UP READY AT PEGLEGS BEACH.
COMPETITORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO DO BOTH RACES, THE RACING CLASS HOWEVER IS A 20 MILE DOWNWINDER AND FOR EXPERIENCED RACERS. CHASE BOATS WILL MONITOR THIS EVENT.
THERE WILL BE A KITESURFING DISPLAY/ EXPRESSION SESSION IN BETWEEN RACING.
VOLLEYBALL IS AVAILABLE OFF THE BEACH.
ENTRY FOR BOTH OR EITHER RACE IS 20$ INCLUDING ENTRY FEE AND EVENT TEE. LUNCH IS AN EXTRA AND KINDLY PROVIDED BY PEG LEGS IN BBQ FORMAT FOR 10$.
