Alan Tolson Memorial Classic
Stithians Lake, South West Cornwall, hosted this year’s Alan Tolson Memorial Classic One Hour Race.
The event organised by Westcountry Watersports of Truro, brought together around 20 or so local windsurfers, to remember and celebrate Alan’s life in the best possible way, windsurfing, which he loved.
Although the racing was strictly for fun, there was a winner Geoff Mead. Geoff completed an impressive 30 laps of the figure of eight course over the hour duration.
Sponsorship money is still being counted, but it is hoped that the event has raised around £400 for The Sunrise Cancer Appeal & the R.N.L.I.
