WHITE AIR 2007 IWEP YOUTH WEEK KICKS OF THE EXTREME FESTIVAL IN STYLE
White Air’s 11th annual festival week fast approaches and in the build up the youth week gave 20 up and coming young windsurfers the chance to learn and compete together. The White Air Youth Week now in its 7th year and in association with the UKSA showed just how advanced the under 15’s can be in the strong northerly winds that prevailed throughout. Competitors had travelled from all over the country bringing together the elite fleet of tomorrows White Air champions!
The main festival is due to start on Monday 27th August and with summer at last arriving and high pressure kicking in, weather conditions look amazing for the World Championships, the biggest Windsurfing Racing event ever held in the UK and on the IOW.
The festival consists of 21 sports, arts, and a White Air Platform One live music stage with 50 groups throughout the 7 day festival.
