Polkerris Beach Company Half Term Holiday Offer

This autumn half term, the Polkerris Beach Company is offering a great
holiday package to all windsurfing families and Team 15 members.

A full week’s windsurfing, accommodation, equipment storage and safety
cover costs just £275 per family, including six hours of tuition by
former Vass instructor George Shillito.

The theme for the week will be coastal sailing and blasting, and is open
to anyone who has been windsurfing for a season or more. So if you can
handle a breeze and fancy some action, sign up soon as accommodation on
site is limited.

The Starboard/Tushingham demo van will be on site all week providing the
opportunity to try out the latest gear. The full range of centre
equipment will also be available for hire.

The programme includes a pub night with a talk by guest star Dave
Hackford, former olympic windsurfer or windsurfing legend John
Hibbard if he’s not in Tahiti (tricky choice – Polkerris or Tahiti).
Weather permitting, there will also be a beach barbeque and a
windsurfing movie night during the week.

Dates for the week are 25 October – 1 November inclusive, with
flexibility on arrival and departure dates.

Located in South Cornwall close to Fowey, Polkerris is a great location,
offering a step up to coastal windsurfing for those used to sailing on
lakes, and some serious bump and jump conditions for the more
experienced when the wind picks up. Self-catering accommodation is in
the Polkerris Beach Company’s own caravans, located just 120m from the
beach. Each caravan sleeps up to 6 people. Additional accommodation is
available at a nearby campsite.
