Pool Slalom Club Christmas Bash

“The guys and gals of Poole Slalom have been a tad inactive on the water with the lack of wind and cold conditions but it doesn’t stop them”, writes Fred Willis.

“In December Poole Slalom organised a Xmas get together at the Hub in Poole.
 
“Thai buffet, a few lagers and a raffle were the order of the night. Prizes were donated by Pryde UK, FC Watersports and BOARDS Magazine as well as some late entries from Sarah Tidey – Olympic Masseuse to Nick Dempsey and Bryony Shaw, who gave two sessions of Sports Massage.
 
“I personally would like to thank the entrants and all concerned for these kind donations as the proceeds all went to the RNLI via my own fund collection for running the London Marathon 2009 (www.justgiving.com/fredwillis1)
 
Although Poole Slalom is not a formal club it show how a group of people can get together for some fun on and off the water, creating a fun scene and atmosphere. Get together with your colleagues and get some more local fun racing.”
