Cribby handed over a cheque for nearly £11,000 to the Ellen MacArthur Trust this month, the money raised from the legendary Channel Crossing that he made last year with Antoine Albeau.

Ellen interviewed him on stage about the crossing in front of some 250 people, including many of the children her charity supports, before she set off on Scarlet Oyster sailing around the UK taking youngsters recovering from cancer and lukaemia sailing and visiting children’s hospitals around the UK, check out www.roundbritain.org.
