What a competition season! We’ve had FOUR cracking events full of wind and waves and also set up the British Wavesailing Association (BWA) to ensure we are able to continue to deliver awesome wave events.Who can forget the monster waves and gale force winds we experienced in Brandon Bay, Ireland in early May. Then we headed across the Irish Sea to Rhosneigr and got a classic Rhossy day of southerly winds and cross-on port tack jumping. Following a windy summer, the Tiree Wave Classic loomed mid-October and as usual provided wind, waves and some amazing party nights courtesy of GMFCo. Then the finale down in Cornwall where Gwithian and Marazion showed themselves to be the best wave sailing beaches in England. Well it’s all over for 2009 and all that’s left is to find out who won!!
