Like us you may have seen ‘Windsurf Barbie’ around before, as she hit shelves a couple of months ago. But we didn’t quite know what to say about this before. In fact, we still don’t.

Barbie windsurfing… great to see windsurfing in the mainstream toy market? Or a horrific showcase of windsurfing? We’re not quite sure.

The doll comes complete with a whole host of details, from boom hand holds, to footstraps, a pink bikini and of course a hang bag (something no windsurf girl should be without!)…

What do you think? Are you about to run out and buy windsurf Barbie to inspire any young girls into windsurfing? Or will you be staying clear?

Personally I’ve never owned a Barbie and I don’t think this is about to change anytime soon…
