The organisers of the biggest speedsailing event in the UK, Weymouth Speedweek, have announced that BBC Breakfast is coming to Speedweek in 2013!

After years of trying the team at Weymouth Speed week has managed to get Mike Bushell from BBC Breakfast TV to cover speedweek and feature it on his Saturday morning sports spot which has an National audience of over 2 million viewers. This is fantastic news for the event and for speedsailing, Windsurfing, Kiting and Boats pushing the envelope of what we can be achieved. This is the 41st year of the event and it is the longest running speedsailing event on the planet held on Portland Harbour at the National Sailing academy.
