The Brits In Pozo – That’s A Wrap

Yesterday the PWA Gran Canaria Wind and Waves Festival came to a close in incredible style, with Philip Koster and Daida Moreno becoming the King and Queen of Pozo. Catch up with more from the whole event on our sister-site Boardseeker.com

It was an up and down event for the Brits this year, but it was Robby Swift who finished top Brit in 9th position. Swift had an excellent heat against Jaeger Stone, even landing a push loop forward, but he just couldn’t match Stone’s wave riding. Adam Lewis was next in 13th position, Adam came through a heat in style yesterday against Dario Ojeda but couldn’t stop Jules Denel. John Skye and Ben Proffitt both made up a place in the double to finish 17th.

All in all we would say it was an incredible two days of competition in some of the best, yet hardest, Pozo conditions. We’ve got more action coming from the Brits very soon, but first check out the quick gallery and snippet of Swift in action below…
