The BWA event in Tiree will now start one day later for all fleets (except the pro division) to allow more competitors to make the long journey up for this legendary event.

Tour Director and Chairman, Nigel Treacy commented:

“The Tiree Wave Classic is established as the UK’s most successful and longest running Wave event. Every Wave sailor should make the pilgrimage to this event at least once in their lifetime. With that in mind we made the decision to start the event a day later allowing competitors from the South of the UK enough time to make this amazing journey North. The event will still finish on the following Friday allowing plenty of time for competitors to get safely home before the next working week”.

All Amateur fleets (Youth, Ladies, Ams, Masters) will run Sun 12th Oct – Fri 17th Oct 2014

Pro fleets final dates are yet to be announced as we await confirmation of PWA dates.
