Diane Busby has been in touch to give us the heads up regarding the possible closure of the Portland Search and Rescue Helicopter –
We the family and friends of the crew of the fishing vessel ‘Purbeck Isle’ sunk off the Dorset coast 17th May are actively campaigning against the closure of the Portland Search and Rescue helicopter which serves the Channel Islands as well as the mainland. If this goes ahead there will be no SAR between Lee on Solent and Falmouth , a huge area. This helicopter was vital in the search for our boys.
To rally as much support as possible we are contacting locaclubs and organizations who will be most affected by the closure
We need at least 100,000 signatures for the government to consider a debate. PLEASE we need your support.
The e-petition, which closes August 23rd can be found here
We would really appreciate your support. Signatures will make all the difference.
Diane Busby recently got in touch asking you to help save the Portland Helicopter by signing the e-petition.
