Happy Monday everyone! We hope you all enjoyed an action packed weekend. From social media and the reports we’ve seen so far it certainly seems like lots of you made it onto the water.

Last week we mentioned the South Cast expression session that was called on, but unfortunately come Friday evening the forecast was looking debatable… so the decision was made to call it off. With it looking like a 50/50 chance that decent weather would come through the organisers didn’t want to risk running in less than great conditions. Rumour had it that the likes of Nik Baker, Chris Audsley (on a comeback!), Jamie Hawkins, Timo Mullen, Jamie Hancock and more are all keen to compete (in fact, Timo still showed up at Witterings for a session anyway) so the organisers are really looking to make sure they get the conditions to do the competition justice. It will be on at some point – just when the conditions come!

In other news, this might not be windsurfing, but it is a video of one of the best UK windsurfing families in action. Sam, Saskia and Imogen Sills are talented and title winning RS:X racers who can also turn their hand to slalom, surfing and SUP. This is what being on the water with family is all about…
