At the weekend slalom sailors from across the UK head to BSA Worthing for the next round of the British Slalom Series hosted by the Baker brothers.
In the amateur racing it was Shaun Cook who took the win by consistently clocking (all-but-one) podium finishes. This set him ahead of Yann Vasseur in second and Simon Langley in third. But hot on their tails and looking for that top three result was young Scotty Stallman who despite being less than half the age of many of the other competitors is already showing he can rival the top!
In the pro fleet again it was the younger riders pushing the top seeds; it was James Dinsmore that took a convincing win with a full set of bullets, ahead of Kev Greenslade in second. Third and fourth places though belonged to Sam Latham and Tom Wells, who are again proving they’ve got what it takes to challenge for event wins.
