Yesterday, as we mentioned on our Boards Facebook page marked 11 years since the sad passing of young windsurfing super-talent Andy Funnell. We’ve watched this video from Tam Mullen a good few times already, but will never get tired of seeing Funnell in action. Funnell was well known for going hard on the water and really pushing the limits… and off the water too! Andy without a doubt crammed more into his short life than many of us will do – he will always be missed.

On a more positive note though, it was great to see all the photos from the weekend of windsurfing particularly the Boardswise Aberdovey Demo which is always a huge success with hundreds of people getting together to enjoy windsurfing (and try the latest gear), which is what its all about.
