A couple of questions for James Dinsmore:
How did you find racing in Marazion?
I loved it. It has been well over five years since I last raced there. It is a breathtaking location and it doesn’t get any better than gybing in front of St.Michaels Mount before you start your run up to the start line. The event organisation was first class. The UKWA, led by Bob Ingram, have worked hard over winter to improve various aspects of the BSA series and it has been well worth it. Bob’s decision to take three support boats to slalom events where possible was immediately vindicated, as the racing was seamless and non-stop all weekend. Previously with two boats when a rescue was required racing had to be temporarily suspended. Bob and his on and off-water support teams are due massive thanks for their efforts.
