4 full days of competition in Bonaire are now over and Kiri Thode and Sarah-Quita Offringa are crowned champions, yet again.

Thode and Offringa were both absolutely dominant, taking two wins from two at the PWA Bonaire, but don’t let the results deceive you, they were pushed all the way.
In the men’s fleet it was Steven van Broeckhoven who took second, but it was Amada Vrieswijk who took the title of stand out sailor. This 18 year old local beat Tonky Frans in a sail off for third in the second elimination and showed he can take down the best.
In the women’s fleet Lady SQ showed just why she is considered the best (cannot wait to see SQ take on the wave tour this year too!), but it was another young gun, this time 16 year old Maaike Huvermann who came through to take second ahead of Arrianne Aukes.
Max Rowe kept his position as top Brit, finishing a very respectable 15th overall, with Bubble Chambers in 26th and Nic Hibdige in 33rd. And hats off to Rowe and Chambers for some full power chat on the live stream!
Anyone that professes to not like freestyle or understand it needs to watch the next live stream (that’ll be from Fuerte at the end of July) to really see what it’s all about – prepare to have your mind blown!
