After a busy day on the water yesterday for all the fleets today is all about rest and relaxation ahead of the conditions forecast for Friday. All fleets are released for the day, with food, SUP and surfing on the agenda.
Boards catches up with Andy Chambers about yesterday’s tricky conditions:
“Conditions weren’t ideal but there were some waves and wind, if you were lucky enough to find them at the same time! Wave selection was the key yesterday, if you picked good waves then you had much more chance of going through your heats. The waves picked up well enough for a few good smacks by the end but the wind dropped off so they increased the heat duration, which made things easier.”
