I’m sure you hardly need reminding that the Olympic gold medal campaign is well and truly underway for the British RS:X windsurfers – Nick Dempsey and Bryony Shaw.
Nick is currently lying in 4th with Bryony in 7th overall. Things are far from decided and Boards will continue to bring you all the action and results from the event site in Weymouth.
Elsewhere but sticking with the Olympic theme we reported that there has now been an official legal challenge against the ISAF ballot to not include the RS:X discipline in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. Boards will monitor this situation closely and bring you updates as and when they happen.

When did you last go windsurfing? We’ve had some great conditions meaning a large number of you have been very active, but there’s definitely people who have yet to make the connection with a local group to help them get back out there. Check out the map – to find your local group and then click on their home page to join them – and then get posting! And if there’s not a group in your area yet, consider starting your own…
Have a great weekend and pray for wind!
