The biggest story this week is the Olympics and the fact that our two competitors, Nick Dempsey and Bryony Shaw, are getting set to take to the stage in the biggest event of their lives to date.

Elsewhere the return of the popular Walvis Bay Speed Week was confirmed, as was the 2012 La Reunion Wave Classic.

Both of these competitions should see a high level of action so stay tuned to Boards and Boardseeker to see how things pan out.
